Ingredients
- 120 g plain flour
- 140 g caster sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 40 g butter
- 50 g dark chocolate, melted
- 1 egg
- 125 ml milk
- 1 orange, juice only
- 3 tbsp granulated sugar
- Buttercream:
- 125 g butter
- 250 g icing sugar
- dash of melted chocolate
Preparation method
- Preheat the oven to 170C. Line a 12-hole muffin tin with paper cases.
- Mix the flour, sugar and baking powder together. Add the butter and puls until combined.
- Whisk the melted chocolate, egg and milk together in a jug.
- Stir the chocolate mixture into the flour mixture until just combined.
- Spoon the mixture into the cases and bake for 15-20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, mix the orange juice and granulated sugar together in a bowl.
- Beat the butter in the bowl and add the icing sugar.
- Pour the cupcakes with orange juice icing. Then decorate the cupcakes with buttercream and pour it with melted chocolate.
